Emmanuel Kweku Ganu founded Yellow Power International in 2017 with a clear, uncompromising vision: to build a mining contractor that would set new standards for excellence, safety, and integrity across West Africa and beyond.

Under his leadership, YPI has grown from a local Ghanaian operation to a multi-country contractor employing over 927 professionals across Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Canada. In 2026, the company was recognised at the 100 Ghana Titans Awards Night.

A leadership journey since 2017.
Established YPI in Ghana, Greater Accra. Secured first drilling contract in Ghana within months of launch.
Led the company to ISO certification setting the safety and quality standard for all future growth.
YPI crosses 500 employees. Load & haul division launched under Emmanuel's strategic direction.
Led YPI's first entry into North America, establishing operations in Canada.
